FDEV grew out of Frontier Computing, a Logan software company founded in 1979 that built hospital and health records software through the 1980s and 1990s. It took its own name in 2015. In 2018 it took on the systems of a new outpatient infusion company, and it grew alongside that company into one of the fastest-growing in Utah.
Today FDEV designs, builds and runs AI agents, data platforms and operating software for healthcare services companies and the private equity firms that build them. Its systems take on the volume work, and its clients' people approve what matters.
